I was raised by hard working and loving parents who taught me to love myself and to value nature. So that no matter where I am in this world I will be secure in the knowledge that I am a farm girl.
As a child I must admit that sometimes i would daydream of being a rich and famous novelist. And ANYWHERE sounded better than dirtroads north carolina. So as I did each of the hundred chores that I was told to do I far from appreciated their flow in the big scheme of things.
Gather eggs from the chicken house, harvesting
the endless rows of tobacco, slop the pigs, milk cows, dig root veggies from the huge gardens that we always had....well, I won't bore you with more details but ....in hindsight I would not trade those times for a million dollars. They made me who I am. A woman who knows who she is, where she came from, and anticipates where she's going.
I'm supposed to describe what I want in a mate. It's actually pretty simple. I want a man who will want to grow old with the woman that I just described.
