I am looking for a farmer/rancher/businessman; someone with polish but down to earth, and who has the heart & soul of a country boy. I grew up in a good family on a farm in Missouri; moved kicking and screaming to Dallas as a young wife & mother. I grew to love the city and all it has to offer, but I need the country and all that entails.
I have been divorced for 7 years; raised two God-fearing, hardworking sons who love their mama. I'm very proud of them. I’m a businesswoman; have built two very successful businesses, and I’ve done it on my own. I gained national recognition as a designer, was featured on Good Morning America with my products. When that market crashed in 2008 I was left penniless (literally) and I started a whole new profession. Now I own two Residential Care Homes and am planning on opening more. Lost my balance financially for a while but have come back strong.
Nobody gave me what I have. I got here through hard work and a wing and a prayer…lots of prayers. Learned to walk through my fear with God at my side.
Don’t let my polished nails and good grooming fool you, I can work a farm with the best of them and have. I love working with the animals and growing good clean food; am a great cook, organic all the way. I want the farm life again and am willing to move for the right man.
No drama, no smokers, and no heavy drinkers or drugs!!! You have to be able to talk things through and be honest and not just say what you think I want to hear. Be straight with me and I’ll do the same.
ONE MORE THING:
I take really good care of myself. I work out at least 3 days a week, usually more. Have lost 65 pounds over the last 6 years doing it the right way. Not perfect and I'm not finished. I get lazy sometimes, but I just keep coming back.
I want someone who does the same. At this stage in our lives that's what it takes to maintain good health. If I fall in love with you, I want you to stay around for a long time :-)
