Living in the country, for me, is essential. The more remote, the better. I've got a little farm right now with goats, ducks and chickens, a big garden every year, putting in fruit trees, and doing some canning every year. Will probably add sheep to my farm soon. Preparing for the winter and possible hard times ahead is a pleasant avocation. The neighbors here are great, even though a little too close, but it's fine for now. Still working full time as an RN, so I'm pretty busy. Giving serious thought to retirement since I would love to be home more, being very much the home body. Would love to share my life with a wonderful guy. Open to relocating.
I'm not what you would call "religious" but have a strong sense of spirituality and love for God. My place of worship is the beautiful mountains, streams, pastures, appreciating His amazing creation.
I sincerely believe that this country is facing one of the most difficult periods in its entire history. What will trigger the tipping point? Could be any number of things ... our national debt for one (we can't even cover the interest on the debt), the list goes on and on. Truth is ... even if none of those things happen and this country enjoys bliss and peace till the end of my days, I would still be glad that I lived as self-sufficiently and modestly as possible out in the country as remotely as I can manage.
I have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren that I don't get to see very often, but glad they are all independent, doing well, and good people.
If you are a strongly independent man with a strong mind and are comfortable in your own skin ... if you know how to be patient, tactful, and kind, yet at the same time know how to say what needs to be said when the time calls for it with no fear ... if you know how to deeply love a woman ... if living a simple life in the country resonates to the center of your soul and you possess a deep personal sense of gratitude, joy, awe, and love of our Creator ... then please contact me.

I just love to work on my farm. I work hard all week as a full time RN and can hardly wait to get to my dog, ducks, chickens, goats, and my garden. I love to go out when it's dark and see all the stars. I live in the mountains and just cannot get enough of their beauty.
