I want to work toward a long term relationship. Kind and caring. I am often A homebody who likes crafts. However, I love to travel too. Especially day trips. I grew up on a farm near where I live now. The name of the road I grew up on was even named after my family, because the farm is multi generational. I have a cat whose name is Winnie. I like dogs as well. I used to have a small dog. A small lapdog. He has since passed. I now live in a small town. But, I can still see the stars. It’s a little railroad town. I can hear the trains come through. I like the simpler things in life. I am not a fancy person. When I go out to eat, I would much rather go to a little hole in the wall then to some fancy restaurant. I am much more comfortable in blue jeans than any kind of dress up. I do have one suit. My favorite color is, by far, red. I do not smoke or drink. I certainly don’t mind Being around people who drink socially, but I’m allergic to cigarette smoke. I am a Christian. I go to Sunday school, church, and Bible study. However, don’t get me confused. Just because I have faith doesn’t make me a Bible thumper or a religious freak. I volunteer at the Frederick county Maryland Literacy Council. I tutor people who speak little or no English. I also have a class for beginners. Students come in from Russia, China, Africa, South America, Central America, Mexico… All over the world. It is very fulfilling indeed. I am a staunch conservative. I would not be compatible with someone who is a politically liberal. I am not a game player. I am too old for that. I am also comfortable in my own skin. I do not have time for that either..
