I was born and raised in northern Denmark and traveled to the States after high school to explore this big world. Two years later, I moved to California. My parents and siblings still live in Denmark, and we are a close bunch despite the distance.
I'm an easy-going, active, natural & straight forward girl. I love to travel, explore the mountains and the coast or just check out new towns or cities, but I also love the peace and intimacy of home.
Growing up life included walks in the forest or along the beach, fine art & theater, horses & road trips through Europe, snowball fights, long summer nights on my grandfathers farm, real candles on the Christmas tree and of course the best chocolate in the world.
Love of nature, travel, art & horses are still a big part of my life. Quite honestly, I'm just as happy riding or hiking and eating sandwiches on the side of a trail as I am going to the theater, wine tasting or fine dining. Nice hotels and resorts are fun, but there is also something magical about a campfire and being out in nature.
I am not the bar scene and party type girl, but I can let my hair down and pull out the heels when occasion calls for it. Don't get me wrong, I do like to dress up and go out.
I live an active lifestyle and most often you will find me with my hair in a pony tail and a baseball cap.
My adult daughter, family and friends are the absolute best and of the utmost importance to me. They describe me as fiercely loyal, brave, kind, independent, fun, honest and committed. I would expect the same in return.
